This event will certainly live up to its name, as the Newton Abbot Ukulele Club make a welcome return. It is impossible not to feel merry, as the music from this amazing band floods the Space with the audience singing along to popular music from across the board.
A delicious two-course meal will be served up in the interval (vegetarian option) along with some hilarious verse delivered by Thelma Portch, an Ipplepen lady who writes all her own material, and is our local equivalent to Pam Ayres. All money raised will help keep the Community Space open for all.
£12.50 entry includes all food and entertainment. Doors open at 6.45pm. Booking advisable as the last performance was a sell out.
And if you’d like to take up the ukulele, the Club is open to all and meets weekly every Wednesday. Find out more at newtonabbotukuleleclub.weebly.com.
