Chill out to the sounds of the Broadbandits, a popular and talented group of local musicians. Cosy socially distanced pods for the audience will be mown in the orchard and music will be a medley of 60’s and 70’s hits. Bring a picnic rug and food and drink if you fancy. There’ll be no refreshments available on site, but there will be lots of hand sanitiser!
If possible, please book ahead, so we know how many mown patches to prepare, but feel free to take pot luck and turn up on the day. There’s no charge for entry, but there will be a collection on the way out in aid of the Community Space and Orchard, so please bring some cash.
You can park in the car park behind the church – from there, the meadow is a 5 minute walk. (If you’re lucky, you may find a few spaces on the nearby roads.) Up to date information can be found on this website – cancellation will only occur if the weather’s really bad, so dress for the weather.
The afternoon also offers the chance to take a look at entries in the Scarecrow Competition in the meadow. And if you want to make a day of it, why not enjoy a Sunday lunch at the Tally Ho first? There’s plenty of space outside in the beautiful garden or inside the pub, which is arranged to make social distancing easy.
