The village annual moth-trapping evening will take place on Lot 7 this year. A great opportunity to take a walk on the wild side and discover some of our land’s nocturnal visitors.
Meet by the Triangle Bridge with good shoes, torches and sticks if you need them. Under the expert guidance of Rik Fox of Butterfly Conservation, we shall set light traps, identify the moths, then release them. This is a free event, but there will be a donation box for Butterfly Conservation. If the weather looks doubtful, Rik will make the final decision. Ring Jenny on 01803 868192 if you are unsure if it’s on or not.
All are welcome, especially children. There will not be a lot of organised publicity, so please spread the word to anyone who might be interested.
