A wonderful New Year’s treat for all the family. The Angel Heart Theatre returns again to Littlehempston with this tale to engage hearts of all ages.
Albert lives with his honey bees on Dartmoor, a mysterious land where nothing is as it seems. One day, a stranger appears and steals Albert’s beloved bees and it’s as though the light has gone from his world. But someone else visits Albert, a little Pixie girl called Mazymeg. She promises to find his bees, for she knows who the stranger is: Dark Dewer, the wicked wizard of the moor.
Weaving threads of Devon folklore and song, a soundtrack by Dartmoor musicians and shape-shifting puppetry, Mazymeg is a spell-bound tale from an ancient land.
Doors open at 4.30pm. Show starts at 5pm. Light refreshments and bar available. Adults £6.50. Children and students £5. Please buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment – the last show was completely booked out.
