A fun afternoon out for all, even if you don’t have a dog, and for those who do, this will be an opportunity to showcase your new puppy or an existing furry friend. This year, we are delighted to have ‘The Devon Dog Lady’, Judy Comer-Calder, to judge the entries and it costs just £5 to enter all the classes, which are designed to suit all types of dogs:

- Class 1: Best handler under 12
- Class 2: Dog with the best trick
- Class 3: Dog most like its owner
- Class 4: Most friendly dog
- Class 5: Cutest cuddly toy dog
Entrance for spectators is free, as is parking in the nearby field by the railway bridge. And this year we have hired a toilet!
The gate opens at 2pm and the show starts at 3pm, giving you lots of time to register. It will be cash only, so don’t forget to bring real money. You may also need it for the Pimms Stall, tea tent with tempting cakes and savoury dishes, tombola, raffle and the Plant, Produce and Cake stall. Donations for all these are very welcome.
And don’t worry if we have another heat wave – there’ll be lots of shady gazebos and we have the nearby stream for children and dogs to splash about in. So many people came last year that seats were in short supply, so feel free to bring your own comfy folding chair and picnic rug. We’ll do the rest!
