Here’s a wonderful way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon. Bring a picnic rug and nestle in the long grass, whilst chilling out to some laid back 60’s and 70’s music. Broadband, that talented group of local musicians, are making a welcome return to the Community Orchard and there’ll also be guest appearances from local guitarist, John Garner, and other local musicians.
Entry fee is a mere £5 for adults and children can come for free. On sale you’ll find delicious food and drink at the Pimms and Refreshments Stalls. Please bring CASH if you possibly can. Cancellation will only occur if the weather’s really bad, so dress for the weather. We’ll provide up to date information here on the Events page. You can park in the car park behind the church – from there, the meadow is a 5 minute walk. And there’s a loo in the church too. Or you can park even closer in a nearby field – enter by the gate between the railway bridge and the little humpbacked bridge, on the right as you drive into Littlehempston village.
And if you want to make a day of it, why not enjoy a Sunday lunch at the Tally Ho first? There’s plenty of space outside in the beautiful garden or inside the pub.
