Three community events over the last month have offered some good opportuities for a catch-up as well as raising some funds for local activities, the Space and the Church. The ever popular pop up stall brimmed with fresh produce and cakes, and took a record £193.50. Thanks to all of you who donated goods and to those who bought them!
The following week saw the draw of the Littlehempston Lottery at the Tally Ho. Richard Durney, our local butcher (pictured here), drew out the winning balls. A very happy David Melland won the £115 top prize – his first win ever which he will spend gastronomically. And £144 was donated to the Community Space. Thanks to all who bought a ticket.
Lots of people showed up at the Coffee Morning, including a very happy group of cyclists who took a break from pedalling to enjoy the cake and refreshments. As always it was a friendly occasion, well supported and with an amazing result – £172 was raised. Definitely the place to be on the last Thursday of the month.
