A great time was had by all at Villagers’ Night where locals packed into the Tally for the annual Christmas celebration. The Littlehempston Lottery was drawn with Vicky McCleod (pictured here with her sons) scooping first prize of £96, and a donation of £120 went to the Community Space. This, together with the £140 raised by the raffle that night, will help pay for the family show The Boy Who Cried Wolf in January and for heating the Space. Thanks to all who helped make the Lottery and Raffle such a success.
The Space Team used the proceeds from the 2018 Lottery to get the new Youth Club up and running. This very successful fortnightly club is thriving, with Ash Levin providing lots of energetic and fun activities. There are a couple of places left and children outside of Littlehempston aged 7 to 11 are welcome to join.
Support for local activities also came from the money raised by the Littlehempston Fete. A donation of £2,000 from Fete 2018 has once again helped keep all the activities in the Space and Church running, with a further £300 donated to support the Youth Club. Thanks to all who helped at the Fete!
