There was lots to enjoy in the village in the run-up to Christmas. Festive fun kicked off with the Children’s Party with an afternoon of family entertainment with OzzD, backed up by lashings of food, mince pies and mulled wine, all funded by some of the proceeds from Littlehempston Fete 2016 and the generous donations of those who came. The afternoon was rounded off with the traditional tree lighting (new lights this year) and rousing carols, accompanied by the Totnes Band. Many thanks to all who helped make this possible.
The Tally was packed to the rafters for another merry Villagers Night – delicious food, good company and fine ale abounded and the raffle raised £125 for the Community Space. The Littlehempston Lottery was also drawn and Bee West was the lucky winner of the first prize of £136. A cheque for £170 was presented by Ken Wood to the Community Space and will be used to pay fuel bills and support further village activities. To sign up for Lottery 2017, just click here.
