Choir, craft and cake all prove big hits!

Aren’t the acoustics in Littlehempston Church wonderful? A sociable evening was had by all when Sidmouth Gospel Choir made the trek over the Exe to sing for us, filling the Space with lovely sound. In return, we fed our guests delicious home-made soup and cake, which were much appreciated.

Littlehempston cuisine also drew praise at the Craft Fair. Tracy’s Cafe did a brisk trade with an amazing array of cakes and … more soup. Every nook of the Space was packed with stalls offering a wide range of delightful craft, and both stallholders and the many visitors enjoyed the happy buzz and the chance to catch up with neighbours.

Thanks to all who helped with both these events, which between them raised over £800. Some of this money has been put towards digitising the village historic archive to make it more accessible and will also help pay the fuel bills this winter!
