Wild about Littlehempston

Aren’t we lucky to have so much of local wildlife, as well as resident experts in the form of Jenny Galton-Fenzi and Gill Middleton, who record and take photos? Nocturnal visitors, snakes, deer, butterflies, birds and insects all featured in a fascinating slide show by Jenny in the Community Space recently. She shared observations of many years of studying our amazing range of neighbours and many of the audience added their experience too. Val Hoare won the chocolate ladybird for knowing that it’s the wood louse that has 14 legs. The evening left you feeling privileged to live in such a rich environment. And the cake was excellent too.

If this leaves you thirsting for more, come along and meet some more locals face to face at the Moth Trapping event next month.
