Lottery win helps tidy garden

First prize in the Village Lottery drawn in March at the Tally Ho was won by Ali Taylor. She plans to spend the £148 winnings on work to the garden, which has got a bit out of hand – a penalty for being away in the Spring. Lucy Morris and Martin Bjerregaard scooped 2nd and 3rd prizes.

The draws are quarterly and the next one is in June, so if you’d like to join in, just send your application and a cheque for £10 (or £30 for the 3 remaining draws this year) to organiser Ken Wood.
