Another Happy Winner!

Judy Hine-Haycock got a nice surprise, when Littlehempston Lottery organiser, Ken Wood, rang to let her know she’d won first prize of £136 in the July draw. The draw was a good excuse to get together at the Pig & Whistle for a delicious meal – well worth it for John Todd who came along and won second prize, which hopefully made up for having a bad back. Third prize went yet again to Ken’s neighbour, Lucy Morris (how do you do it, Lucy?). A cheque for £170 was received by Colin Platt on behalf of the Community Space at Littlehempston Church.

Ken started the lottery last year to raise money for the Space and to date has raised nearly £1,500 that supports a variety of activities. This is a great way of having a flutter and also helping keep the church and Space up and running. Go to Littlehempston Lottery to find out more.

The final draw for this year is on October 30th. If you’d like to join in, contact Ken for more details by phone on 865541 or send him an e-mail.
